The arrival of Pro Kabaddi league has really blessed not just the organizers, fans, and audience but also the players. Recently there was an auction held for some elected players of the kabaddi. Some players got the highest price while some others could not get sold. Let’s get all the major details about it.
On the first day, 6 players were sold for more than one crore each. That is the history in this game too. Siddhartha Desai was purchased at the highest price of about 1.45 crore approx. The Auction was held on April 8 and 9 this year in Mumbai. There were 12 kabaddi teams to buy the players for their teams. A total number of players for the bidding there were about 200 and all the 12 teams spent their 50 crores rupee to buy some of them.
The top five Indian players’ bidding
Siddhartha Desai was bought by the Telugu Titans on the payment of Rs 1.45 crore. After him, the second-highest buy was done by Puneri Paltans FBM. It purchased the sparkling star Nitin Tomar on the payment of 1.20 crore. Rahul Chaudhari was the third highest-paid player for the bidding in the auction. He was purchased by Tamil Talivas for Rs 94 lakh. Monu Goyat who once got Rs 1.51 crore in the bidding of 2018, was purchased by U.P. Yodhas on the payment of 93 lakh while Sandeep Narwal was bought by U Mumba on the payment of 89 lakh.
Thus all the top five biddings for national players in the Pro Kabaddi league were done on the payment of total Rs 5.41 crores.
Just like the National kabaddi players, there were some Foreign kabaddi players also who were bought by the different Teams.

Top five Foreign players purchased in PKL
In this list, the first name is Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh. He was purchased on the payment of 77.75 lakhs by the Bengal Warriors. He belongs to Iran. The second-highest-paid player in this category also comes from the same country Iran. His name is Abozar Mohajermighani and he was bought by Telugu Titans on the payment of Rs 75 lakh. The third player in this list belongs to the Republic of Korea. His name is Jang Kun Lee and he was purchased on the payment of Rs 40 lakhs by Patna Pirates.
The next player in this list is Mohammad Esmail Maghsodhu and he also belongs to the same country as the first and second that is Iran. Patna Pirates purchased him too on the payment of Rs 35 lakh. The last player in this list is Doing Geon Lee. He also belongs to the Republic of Korea and he was purchased on the payment of Rs 25 lakh by U Mumba. Thus the total payment done for the purchasing of the top five foreigner players is Rs 2.53 crore approx. It’s clear that all the teams paid more for Indian players than they paid for foreign players.
